HOW WE CAN HELP
We are here to help. Our organization is designed to help the people in our community that are often forgotten or overlooked. We are able to help in a countless variety of ways. These are a few more common ways we have found we can help, but it is not a complete list. If you need help, click the contact us button to the right to fill our our form or click the Facebook button to be directed to our Facebook community page. The community page is designed to help match people who need assistance with people who may be able to help bring hope to those in need.
Here are some examples:
A family who runs out of firewood or propane during the winter and either cannot afford to get more is unable to transport it,
A family who’s only vehicle breaks down, and they are unable to get their children to school, get to work, or provide basic necessities,
Someone breaks a bone, has surgery, or is otherwise sick or injured and unable to cut their grass,
An elderly couple’s water heater or HVAC goes out and they cannot afford to fix it on their limited, fixed income,
A child is sleeping on a cot, air mattress, or the floor, because the family cannot afford a bed for them,
A child cannot afford school supplies or afford to go on that field trip with the rest of their class,
A family has a house fire and needs help taking their damaged property to the dump, or their salvaged property to storage,
The main waterline to the house or water lines under the house burst, leaving the individual or family without water,
A family or elderly couple’s porch is falling in and they are unable to afford to repair the dangerous conditions,
Someone needs help filling out their food stamp or housing applications,
Limited financial counseling, budgeting, resume assistance, or mock interviews to help their financial situation.
Please do not think this is a complete list. Just because your issue was not listed in these examples, does not mean we cannot help or we cannot point you in the right direction. We do not compete with other charities for donations for the same causes. We would rather focus on the needs that are not being met within our community, and help people get in contact with the right people for charities that handle issues we do not handle. Who are we?
Our organization is committed to driving positive change through impactful philanthropy, focusing on the specific needs of those people in the communities we serve.
Our founder started this organization after he felt called to do the Lord’s work. He continued seeing people reaching out for help from various Facebook posts and witnessing people who were struggling with basic needs. He kept seeing mission trips scheduled, and care packages collected to support overseas missions. He wanted to make sure we took care of the people in our backyard before we sent the aid out of the area and support people who
Our founder decided he needed to try and help people who are in need, and he began working on setting up our organization. We are a Christian-based, non-profit organization. We keep all of our donations local to the communities we serve.
While we are a religious-based organization, we do not require anyone who volunteers with us, requests, or receives our aid to be religious. We do not push anyone into religion and it is never a condition of our organization to have anyone listen to a sermon.
We are based out of Blount County Tennessee, but we currently serve Blount, Sevier, and Knox counties. We hope to grow our organization and serve a larger portion of Tennessee. Eventually, we would love to support the Southeast United States.
